We keep customers (of customers) happy
09/06/2023 - 3 min readAt the end of May, IMEX took place in Frankfurt. The international trade show is an annual meeting for incentive travel, meetings and event professionals. Event planners, suppliers, venues and many more come together from all over the world. And so did our delegation of COVR experts.
A few days before, Business Developer Pol Van De Perre and Team Coordinator Jeroen Janssens left for Frankfurt with a van full of cookies. “To start with an icebreaker, we had the idea of handing out homemade cookies to our visitors,” Pol explains. “That way we made a reference to our cookie policy to personalize visitors’ experience at our booth.”
Of course, at a trade show that brings together countries, event venues, hosted buyers and more, you have to stand out. Located in the event technology section, our booth indeed stood out with its broad range of solutions. “While our neighbors tended to focus on specialised tools, our added value is in the integrated approach, with prime features”, Jeroen continued.
Everyone who came to the booth has been immersed in COVR’s full story. “Our clients want to offer their customers a seamless experience. Our fully integrated solutions allow them to make this a reality. From registration to printed badge and everything in between. From abstract draft to publication in a scientific journal. From online programme to personal agenda … In short, everything you need as a congress organiser to offer participants an impressively smooth experience.
Our clients want to offer their customers a seamless experience. Our fully integrated solutions allow them to make this a reality.
We don’t sell directly to the end user, but we want our customers to be able to impress theirs.
Like for any event technology, also for us, Covid-19 resulted in accelerated development of virtual and hybrid meeting features. Our stand visitors were able to try our full-featured virtual congress platform. “With programme personalisation, time zone support, virtual exhibition, appointment scheduling personal and group-based messaging, e-Posters, faculty gallery, banner-ad management & monetisation, live streaming and on-demand viewing, it is one of the most versatile platforms. Used in combination with cmOffice, there is no need for importing or synchronizing data”, Pol said.
Jeroen adds: “As a conference supporting business, you always have to keep two things in mind. First, everything has to be structured so that your price-quality is right, your customers can work productively and with ease of use. Secondly, there is the customer’s customer. Obviously we don’t sell directly to them, but we want our customers to be able to impress their customers. And you have to do that by looking at things like fun, experience and ease of use. If you combine both worlds in the right way: you’ll be completely set for your next conference!
