The business of COVR, responsible for supporting international medical congresses, underwent a transformation last year from physical to fully virtual congresses. Now there is another crucial switching moment: from virtual congresses to a hybrid setup. We spoke with Tim Sleebus, director at COVR and audiovisual partner Michael Van Rooy of Techni-Congress.
COVR, the Netropolix division responsible for the IT technical support of international medical and scientific congresses, saw its plans fall apart, because of the corona crisis. Events for thousands of people were (and still are) not allowed. Fortunately, the company didn’t hold back. It set up a completely virtual alternative.
